What is Swat Safari?
Swat Safari is a game for cats on the iPad. Little critters scurry across the screen, and when your cat taps one, squish! Another soon sneaks in. Lay the iPad flat and let the hunt begin.
Is there a good iPad game for cats?
Swat Safari is made for exactly that: an interactive iPad game where realistic ants, ladybugs and flies scurry around for your cat to chase and tap. It has no ads, and it is free to play for 3 minutes a day.
How do I play with my cat?
Lay the iPad flat on the floor or a low table, open Swat Safari and tap play. Critters scurry across the screen and your cat can paw at them. Play along with your cat and keep an eye on claws and the screen, as you would with any toy.
Is Swat Safari free? Are there ads?
There are no ads, ever. The game is free for 3 minutes of play every day. A single purchase, Unlock All, removes the daily limit. It is one payment with no subscription.
What does Unlock All include?
Unlimited play every day, a high score list, Cat Snapshots (optional photos of your cat mid-play) and the Play Timer (critters head off on their own after 1 to 30 minutes without a tap).
Is it only for kittens?
No. You set up your cat's name, age group and avatar when you start, and the game suits kittens and adult cats alike. Interest in chasing and pouncing varies from cat to cat, so try a short session first.
Does Swat Safari work on iPhone?
No. Swat Safari is made for the iPad only, because the larger screen gives your cat room to chase.
Do I need an internet connection to play?
No. The game itself does not use the internet. You only need to be online to buy Unlock All or restore a purchase.
What are Cat Snapshots? Where do the photos go?
Cat Snapshots is an optional feature in Unlock All. If you switch it on, the iPad's front camera takes an occasional photo of your cat while it plays. The photos stay on your iPad and never leave it. You can view them in Snapshots on the main menu, save one to your Photos library, or delete them at any time.
Does the app collect my data?
No. Swat Safari has no ads, analytics or tracking, and the Cat Snapshots camera is used only on your iPad. Read the full privacy policy.
How do I restore my purchase on a new iPad?
Open Options from the main menu and tap Restore Purchases. Use the same Apple ID you bought with.
